Yes. A GSM or video intercom rings your mobile when someone presses the button at the gate and lets you release it from anywhere, and an app-connected control board gives you a log of who opened the gate and when.
What happens to the gate in a power cut?
Every gate we fit has a manual release, opened with a key when the power is off, and CAME and BFT both offer battery back-up units if you want the gate to keep operating automatically through a cut.
How long does the installation take?
Automating an existing gate is usually a day on site once we are there. New gates with posts, groundworks and a power run take longer and are scheduled around the masonry and electrical work, with a realistic programme given at quote stage.
