Security installation in Lisburn, in short
Lisburn's business parks and housing estates alike get access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, electric gates and WiFi from Coast Data Security, in a city built on the linen trade that is now home to business parks at Blaris, Seymour and Lissue. Every job, from a shop unit to a factory yard, starts with a free site survey.
Local knowledge
A linen town that became a business city.
Lisburn grew up on the linen trade, and the Victorian streets close to the city centre, some of them built for mill workers, still shape the housing stock there: terraced rows with small yards, converted for family living, where a compact CCTV and alarm setup usually does the job. The Irish Linen Centre and the older mill buildings around the city are a reminder of what the town was built on, even though the industrial estates have since moved out to the edges.
Those edges are where most of our commercial work happens. Blaris Industrial Estate, Seymour Business Park and Lissue Industrial Estate between them hold a wide mix of units, from small trade counters to full distribution warehouses, and the usual job is CCTV across the yard, an alarm on the unit and access control on the shutter or the office door, often for a landlord managing several units on the same estate rather than a single owner.
New estates and old roads
Growing outwards from the city centre.
Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council covers planning here, and the PSNI's Lisburn and Castlereagh district covers policing. New family estates off the Hillhall Road, in Lissue and around Ballymacash have grown quickly over the past two decades, and a fair number of the houses there are close enough to a neighbour that a CCTV survey is as much about privacy and angle as it is about coverage.
The M1 motorway and the A1 run either side of the city, so getting out to a farm or a rural property towards Moira, Dromore or Hillsborough is still a short trip from our base, even though the roads themselves are narrower and the properties further apart than anything in the business parks.
How it works in Lisburn
From your call to a finished job
- 1
Survey at the property or unit
We visit the house, the office or the industrial unit, look at the layout and the wiring routes, and talk through what the system needs to cover and how you will use it day to day.
- 2
Written quote
A clear recommendation for the equipment and access devices needed, priced in full, with no pressure to add anything the property or the business does not need.
- 3
Scheduling with landlords and businesses
Where a job involves a landlord or several units on the same estate, we coordinate access and timing so the work happens with the least disruption possible.
- 4
Installation and testing
Cameras, alarms, gates or access control are fitted, wired or paired, and properly tested before handover, whether it is one unit or a whole site.
- 5
Handover and aftercare
The last visit covers the app, the alarm codes and any access fobs in full, plus the paperwork, and we stay on hand afterwards for servicing across the whole site.
